The Philippines has a tropical wet weather with two climate seasons – the dry and wet seasons. The summer monsoon brings along heavy rains to most places in the country from May to October. The winter monsoon brings cooler and drier air from December to February. In the coastal and lowland areas, tropical marine climate is experienced which is hot and humid during March to May. Manila, the capital city of the country, is hot and dusty from March to May.
